General SummaryThis position is responsible for providing planning and analytical expertise while supporting data driven decision making throughout the Global Planning and Inventory team. The Global Planning Analyst will support the S&OP and demand planning process along with creating visibility to inventory throughout the network through reporting and analytics. This position will partner closely with the global service organization leadership and regional planning leads. In addition, this position with prepare weekly and monthly reports for the ELT and Global Planning leadership. Primary ResponsibilitiesManage the global service parts business through the Sales and Operations Planning process.Drive accurate forecasting through a statistical methodology and demand consensus review with subsidiaries on products, parts, and consumableExecute global service parts inventory targets through a consistent safety stock management strategy, forecast accuracy improvements and global inventory rebalancing.Serve as a liaison to regional planning teams for supply and demand plan inquiries.Support the communication of product lead times based on supply-demand to regions.Monitor customer backlog and forecast consumption at each subsidiary, root cause and communication with Global Planning, Procurement and Service of any changes of significance.Provide input to the organization on planning and inventory strategies for service parts existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.Partner with the planning teams to optimize the parts flow and inventory to field service engineers.Partner with global service teams to forecast and optimize the refurb center parts flow, both component and finished goods.Partner with IT and Master Data teams to automate supply chain analyticsFacilitate inventory allocation decisions for regional backorders as supply becomes available.Partner with the procurement team to communicate supply availability updates, develop and update supplier metric and performance reports.Maintains global process integrity, templates, tools, and training to maximize effectiveness of Demand Planning process in partnership with Global Planning Leadership.Identify and lead improvement projects from charter to execution as necessary.Responsible for the development and updating of weekly & monthly KPIs while standardizing approach, process, and tools.Collaboratively work across functions and levels in the organization. Knowledge/Educational RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business or related disciplines5 + years supply chain/operations experienceDemand planning experience preferredExcellent Microsoft Excel skills (MS Access a plus)Result oriented with strong problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent communications skills in English, both verbal and writtenStrong team player working collaboratively across functionsExperience with Enterprise ERP systems (Oracle Cloud Preferred) Salary Range: $100-110k based on candidate experience This job description is not all inclusive and is intended to capture a majority of the job functions.
