Senior Geophysicist

Remote Full-time
Scope of Work:

Kent is looking to hire Geophysicists and Geologists on a 0-hour contract, the suitable candidates can be based remotely or in any of our UK offices.

The successful candidates would ideally have offshore wind experience, including work on site developments as well as cable routes in nearshore and onshore environments.

Key Requirements:

Survey management and client representative support.

Survey scope, design and specifications, survey tender documents and evaluations.

Integrated ground modelling – all tasks associated with ground modelling e.g. import of geo data to interpretation software, QA of data, integrated geophysical and geotechnical interpretation including mapping, unitisation, depth conversion etc.

Geological features and geohazards mapping e.g. boulder picking, faults, seismic anomalies, shallow gas, seabed features, seabed mobility, scour, liquefaction, seismicity, hard and softs soils etc.

Anthropogenic constraints and risk mapping.

QI and seismic inversion products.

Report writing, GIS mapping and associated products.

Data processing, e.g. seismic processing, is desirable.

Data conversions, scripts, data problem solving as required.

GIS mapping multiple sectors.
