Seeking a Senior GCP Cloud Platform Engineer to design and support scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within FedRAMP-compliant environments. This role will focus on building secure cloud foundations, infrastructure automation, and enabling development teams through reliable and compliant cloud platform services.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, implement, and maintain secure GCP cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise workloads.
ā¢ Build and manage FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments aligned with federal security and compliance standards.
ā¢ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
ā¢ Build and support container platforms using Kubernetes / GKE.
ā¢ Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for infrastructure and platform deployments.
ā¢ Manage cloud networking, IAM, and security controls in regulated environments.
ā¢ Implement monitoring, logging, and auditing to support security and compliance requirements.
ā¢ Partner with engineering and security teams to maintain FedRAMP controls and cloud governance standards.
Required Skills
ā¢ 10+ years of cloud infrastructure or platform engineering experience
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
ā¢ Experience working within FedRAMP, GovCloud, or other regulated cloud environments
ā¢ Expertise with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
ā¢ Experience with Kubernetes / GKE
ā¢ Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance frameworks
Preferred
ā¢ Experience supporting FedRAMP Moderate or High environments
ā¢ Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect)
ā¢ Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls
ā¢ Experience working with security, compliance, and audit teams
