Responsibilities
• Lead the conception, development, and implementation of new, complex features for the website and other business processes.
• Design, standardize, and implement robust APIs to facilitate communication between various systems.
• Establish and monitor standards for code quality and testing, including code reviews and mentoring developers.
• Shape the architecture of the CI/CD pipeline and optimize deployment environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to continuously improve the platform and maintain a strategic advantage.
Requirements
• Several years of practical experience in full-stack development, ideally in an agile startup environment.
• Profound knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Proficiency with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and deployment platforms like Heroku.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; German language skills are a plus.
