We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our User Clients team, where you'll play a key role in defining, building, and shaping the future of Airbnb's user-related product flows. As a senior engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality products, build efficient and reusable web components, and drive web best practices.
About the Role:
Design and deliver high-quality products on web, collaborating with Product Managers, Experience Designers, and Engineers
Build efficient and reusable web components, architecting reliable, performant, and scalable solutions
Identify areas of improvement and drive web best practices, mentoring and guiding individual contributors
Work closely with Android and iOS engineers to develop foundational, cross-platform solutions
Your Expertise:
5+ years of experience developing web applications at scale with a high volume of users
Strong expertise in building and maintaining high-performance and scalable web frontend experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, GraphQL)
Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
Strong product sense and passion for UX product development
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other engineers
