As a Senior Facilities & Systems Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing critical mechanical systems operations across our Mesa Apple Store. You'll be a key contributor to maintaining a comfortable, safe, and productive environment for our team and a premium experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Operational Excellence: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Apple Store's mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. This involves proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance.
Project Management: Manage and execute various capital improvement projects related to facilities and systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with a diverse range of HVAC and other specialized vendors, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and ensuring quality service delivery.
Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical systems, minimizing downtime and extending equipment lifespan.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively, minimizing disruption to store operations.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all facilities and systems operations adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Sustainability Initiatives: Contribute to and support Apple's sustainability goals by identifying and implementing energy-efficient solutions and promoting environmentally responsible practices.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with store leadership, operations teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Emergency Response: Provide on-call support for critical facility and systems issues outside of regular business hours, ensuring swift resolution of emergencies.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of building management systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and relevant codes and regulations.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.


What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on mechanical systems.
Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with building automation systems (BAS) is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to other Apple locations as needed.
