Senior Digital Strategist
The Senior Digital Strategist will manage the digital fundraising process for key clients, developing overarching fundraising strategy, calendars, email plans, and text plans. They will manage email and text list growth campaigns through both advertising and list rental campaigns. They will be the primary contact for key Democratic campaigns and/or Democratic PACs across the country. They will monitor email deliverability to ensure emails end up in inboxes and not spam. They will help pull, analyze, and share clients’ advertising and email metrics. The Senior Digital Strategist must be a strong writer and communicator with incredibly close attention to detail.

Responsibilities Include:Developing strategic plans for online fundraising, including email and textDesigning and implementing digital fundraising media plansManaging the digital advertising and list building process from start to finish and overseeing large budgetsServing as the key point of contact for principals on political campaigns and PACsTraining digital strategists and associates, checklisting their work, and fostering their successCompiling weekly and monthly reports of clients’ email campaigns, text campaigns, and digital advertising/list growth campaigns; communicating results in a timely and professional mannerMonitoring email deliverability to ensure emails end up in inboxes and not spam. Performing other duties as neededSkills and Qualifications:3+ years of experience in digital fundraisingStrong writing and time management skills; the ability to write quickly under time constraintsAn ability to multitask An ability to communicate numbers and analytics in a broadly accessible wayExperience drafting emails and creating email calendars for political candidates or PACsExperience helping campaigns or organizations build their text and email listsFamiliarity with reporting in NGP, Action Network, Action Kit, or another CRM Familiarity with Switchboard, Tatango, or other text platformsExperience with Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager is a plusKnowledge of HTML is a plusExperience monitoring email deliverability is a plusWillingness to work atypical hours for political candidatesA passion for electing Democrats up and down the ballot and for progressive causes!The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per year. We offer an incredibly competitive benefits package. Position is fully remote with the option to work out of an office in DC.
