Senior Devops Engineer

Saviynt is seeking a Senior Devops Engineer to help lead the automation of our software deployment lifecycle. This role is ideal for a seasoned DevOps professional with deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and deployment automation frameworks. You will play a key role in driving scalable, secure, and reliable delivery processes across our cloud-based platform. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Architect, implement, and maintain scalable deployment automation frameworks.Lead development of internal tools and reusable components to support automated deployments.Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) across various environments.Integrate infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.Manage and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes, Helm, and containerization best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Architects, SREs, and QA.Champion DevOps best practices and support platform-wide adoption of automation and observability standards.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.Troubleshoot complex deployment issues and lead root cause analysis.Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to evolving internal best practices. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, software deployment automation, or similar roles.Strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with Python, Go, or Shell scripting.Expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).Solid experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and Helm chart management.Proven experience automating deployments in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Strong knowledge of DevOps culture, Agile methodology, and release engineering best practices.Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
