Summary
The Senior Designer shapes the visual expression of Aspen Surgical's brands across print and digital channels. Reporting into marketing communications, this role partners closely with Brand Managers, Product Managers, and Digital to translate portfolio strategy into design work that engages audiences and strengthens brand equity. It's ideal for a designer who can shape the creative direction of a campaign, not just produce its assets, and who brings 7+ years of experience leading concepts from brief through delivery.

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to

Own creative concepts for assigned brands, ensuring visual and messaging consistency across commercial touchpoints, and steward design integrity across sales tools, campaigns, digital channels, and distributor communications.

Partner with Brand and Product Managers to translate value propositions, competitive insights, and customer needs into creative direction.

Lead design thinking from brief to execution, shaping the strategic intent of campaigns rather than only producing deliverables.

Design marketing assets across print (collateral, brochures, trade show graphics, packaging) and digital (web, email, social, ads, video, presentations), developing integrated visual systems that scale across campaigns, channels, and product lines.

Deliver sales enablement materials, including positioning visuals, message maps, and pitch decks.

Partner with Brand and Product Management on portfolio, pipeline, and competitive context, and collaborate with Sales, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, and Global teams to align creative with program objectives.

Integrate newly acquired brands by translating their visual identity into Aspen Surgical's commercial infrastructure across collateral, digital presence, and brand systems.

Build scalable design processes, templates, and asset libraries that support sales, distributors, and global teams, and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency at scale.

Manage timelines across concurrent brand and campaign workstreams.

Apply commercial feedback and performance data to improve creative effectiveness, efficiency, and output quality.

Lead adoption of AI and emerging design tools (generative imagery, copy, motion, layout assist) to accelerate ideation, production, and iteration without compromising craft.

What you need to succeed in this position

7+ years of design experience across print and digital, ideally including B2B, healthcare, or regulated-industry work.

Demonstrated ability to lead creative strategy, not just execute against briefs, shaping concepts, visual direction, and campaign frameworks from the ground up.

Strong portfolio across brand systems, campaigns, sales enablement, packaging, and digital experiences.

Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma; familiarity with motion, video, and presentation design a plus.

Demonstrated fluency with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT/Claude) and a point of view on how to apply them to elevate, not replace, design craft.

Proven success partnering with marketing, product, and sales stakeholders to translate strategy into effective creative.

Excellent project management instincts, able to manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and stakeholders without sacrificing quality.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative rationale to senior stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent experience.

We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer- and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or Veteran status. Different makes us better.
