As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll join a talented team of data experts who are dedicated to unlocking the full potential of our data assets and driving business success. **Key Responsibilities** As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for: * Leading, breaking down, and specializing broad datasets to create high-level business insights through advanced predictive models across our brick-and-mortar and e-commerce platforms. * Serving as a mentor to the Data Science team, providing expert guidance and leading research projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration to meet internal customer information needs. * Providing initiative and setting vital vision and direction for the Data Science group, focused on Omni Channel examination across both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce platforms. * Leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with Examiners, Specialized Associates, and Business Pioneers to develop an improvement guide based on business needs. * Interpreting business requirements into precise product specifications to direct development. * Leading design meetings, adjusting techniques to business drivers, challenges, and long-term objectives. * Planning effective data pipelines to address business issues, utilizing specialized tools and retail frameworks. * Setting and executing Data Science group best practices and leading code audits for colleagues. * Creating convincing visuals, diagrams, and graphs that resonate with data, tailored to various audiences. * Utilizing advanced analytical techniques (regression, AI, clustering) to drive significant insights. **Essential Qualifications** * 2+ years' experience creating Examination, Measurable, or AI models to extract insights and address business challenges, preferably in a retail setting. * Capability in web analysis and visitor segmentation using data to drive informed decisions and improve online experiences. * Lead small groups in quick and accurate data analysis, feature definition, and creative problem-solving for business challenges. * Ability in working on complex issues, creating data-driven stories for direction. * Cloud stage/tech capability. * Aptitude in AI or machine learning methods. * Ability in investigating and underlying driver analysis. * Successful in quick-moving, evolving conditions. **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with various project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum). * Proficient relational skills for effective team and individual communication. * Capability in different data technology areas: + Data pipelines and ETL tools (e.g., SQL, SSIS, Knime, Alteryx, Scene Prep) + Database platforms including Snowflake and SQL Server + Preparing languages (e.g., Snowscript, JavaScript, VBA, Python) + Factual and Data Science languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python for Data Science) + Utilization of AI strategies. * Experience with cutting-edge analytical systems (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, statistical induction, theory testing, p-values, causal inference, Random Forest, Bagging, Boosting, Time Series). **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
