As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in leveraging data to inform business decisions, drive customer-centric initiatives, and measure the impact of our efforts. About the Role This is a senior-level analytics position that will serve as a subject matter expert on a key Customer Experience (CX) initiative. You'll work collaboratively with a balanced team to combine business acumen and analytical expertise to drive sound recommendations and data-driven decision-making. Your primary focus will be on continuous discovery, data exploration, and developing a deep understanding of the data domain for your assigned initiative. Key Responsibilities Data Expertise : Become the go-to expert on customer data, knowing what data is available, how to join it, and how to use it to tell stories, make decisions, and answer questions. Analytics and Insights : Combine business understanding with analytical expertise to make sound recommendations in your domain, and track the benefits of actions taken by the CX team using multiple stitched data sources. Dashboard Development : Create and maintain advanced SQL queries that power dashboards, and develop front-end dashboards in tools like Tableau. CX Data Platform : Contribute to the design of the new CX data platform, and create base queries and documentation to assist business teams in connecting to this new data source. Ad Hoc Analytics : Respond to ad hoc analytics requests, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders. Reporting and Best Practices : Establish reporting standards and best practices, architect and implement a reporting framework, and oversee data mining efforts. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and end-users to determine requirements, and develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A bachelor's degree in a field related to the job, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 years of work experience, with a strong background in data analysis and advanced analytics techniques. Strong SQL skills, with the ability to develop complex queries and stored procedures. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to issue resolution. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 1-2 years of experience in data management, process analysis, and improvement. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, with a strong attention to detail. Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to organized, high-quality deliverables. Experience with varied database applications and analytical tools.
