About The Role
You'll join an existing data services team charged with ensuring the delivery of business insights from data that Yello collects. You will work closely with the Director of Data, data engineers, product managers, and Customer Success to gather requirements necessary to produce analytics products that drive meaningful change in the recruiting experience.

How You'll Make An Impact
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ā Partner with Customer Success to acquire accurate business requirements
Ā Construct custom dashboards based upon defined business requirements
Ā Consult with Product Managers to define key performance metrics and business insights
Ā Provide data-driven insights to guide product development decisions
Ā Utilizing Agile principles to manage request intake and completion
Ā Work closely with Product, UX, and Design team members to develop internal analytical solutions (e.g. dashboards, automated reports) for internal personnel
Ā Build SQL queries to deliver ad hoc insights to both internal and external stakeholders
Ā Build complex SQL queries to transform, cleanse, and validate data for the data lake/warehouse based on business rules and requirements
Ā Implement cataloging best practices and leading the definition, collection, and documentation of our data sources
What We're Looking For
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ā A bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, another quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience required
Ā 2 to 4 years of business analysis experience
Ā 2 to 4 years of data analytics experience
Ā Proficient in SQL - must be able to build and performance tune complex transformation, reporting, and validation queries, preferably in Trino SQL, to ensure accuracy, scalability, and maintainability of code
Ā 2 to 4 years working experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sisense
Ā Agile project management experience
Ā Analytical and problem-solving skills to take complex business requests and transform them into clean, simple, data driven solutions
Ā Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with other engineers as well as internal/external stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ā 2 to 4 years of experience working in customer-facing analytics reporting
Ā Experience with DBT
Ā Experience with dimensional data modeling
Ā Nice to have experience using git or other version control
Additional Information
Ā We are open to remote applicants for this position as long as you live in one of the states we are set up to do business in: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, PA, TN, TX, VA, and WI
Ā Base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000, based on experience, with a 10% annual bonus opportunity
