Senior Copywriter, Creative

We’re looking for an experienced writer to join Wealthfront’s Creative Team, reporting to our Creative Director, Copy. As a pioneer in automated investing and money management, we offer tools and services to make financial dreams more accessible to a broader range of people than ever before. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional creative solutions that inspire, engage, and drive results.

As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll help us find smart, engaging ways to bring our brand promise to life with strategic insight and impeccable execution—and you’ll play an important role in shaping our brand and influencing the future of financial services.

You’ll be responsible for collaborating closely with cross-functional colleagues to create a wide range of awesome things: producing assets to support a tentpole brand campaign and explaining the ins and outs of complex financial products with clarity and just the right amount of flair. Not only will you find new, unexpected (and unexpectedly fun) ways to get people excited about their financial future, you’ll deliver the kinds of exciting creative ideas that no one would ever expect from a financial institution.

Our Senior Copywriter will be a hands-on doer and a wonder-worker with words who has a knack for putting just the right quip in just the right spot to get someone to smash that sign-up button.

- Share knowledge, mentor and guide other team members to achieve their full potential.

Creative Development and Oversight
- Oversee campaigns from concept to delivery, incorporating stakeholder feedback effectively.
- Deliver multiple strategic directions for each creative phase, testing our assumptions and uncovering surprising solutions.
- Take on projects with ambiguous or non-specific deliverables, driving them from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with team members to evolve brand expressions and maintain brand consistency.
- Craft tailored messages across various media formats.

Preferred Experience
- 3+ years as a copywriter in an agency, studio, or in-house creative team.
- Strong grammatical and proofreading skills.
- Experience adapting consistent and effective messaging across digital, print, video, social, and non-traditional media.
- Bonus: Using performance data to inform creative decisions.
