Senior Channel Sales Engineer
RSA is looking for a Channel Pre‑Sales Engineer to support our growing partner ecosystem. This role is critical in enabling channel partners to successfully position, demonstrate, and sell RSA’s identity and cybersecurity solutions.You will act as the technical authority for partners, working closely with Channel Sales, Partner Managers, and RSA field pre‑sales to drive pipeline, accelerate deals, and ensure technical excellence throughout the partner sales cycle.This is a highly customer‑ and partner‑facing role, combining deep technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.Principal Responsibilities:Serve as the primary technical pre‑sales contact for assigned channel partnersEnable partners on RSA’s portfolio through:Technical training and onboardingSolution positioning and architecture guidanceCompetitive differentiationSupport partner‑led opportunities with technical discovery, solution design, and validationCollaborate with Channel Account Managers and Partner Managers to support pipeline and active dealsDeliver and support:Partner and customer product demonstrationsProof of concepts (POCs) and evaluationsTechnical responses to RFPs/RFIsEnsure solutions align with customer requirements, security best practices, and RSA reference architecturesParticipate in joint partner/customer meetings, workshops, and eventsAct as a trusted technical advisor to both partners and end customersHelp partners identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across RSA’s portfolioWork closely with RSA Sales Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Success teamsProvide feedback from partners and customers to influence product direction and enablement prioritiesMaintain accurate documentation of partner capabilities, certifications, and technical readinessRequired Skills, Education & Experience:Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent5+ years of previous experience as Systems EngineerAuthentication and/ or Identity Governance Access Management Strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in one or more of the following:Identity & Access Management (IAM)Authentication, MFA, SSO, PasswordlessAccess governance, identity lifecycleRisk, fraud, or access securityExperience designing and explaining complex technical solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiencesFamiliarity with cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem architecturesProven experience in a pre‑sales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering roleHands‑on experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or MSSPsAbility to support multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast‑paced sales environmentExcellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skillsComfortable leading technical discussions and workshopsStrong collaboration skills and a partner‑first mindsetSelf‑motivated, organized, and able to work independentlySecurity Requirements:U.S. citizenship requiredActive or ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (level dependent on role and customer)Preferred Skills: Experience selling or supporting identity or access security platformsPrior work in a vendor + partner‑led sales modelSecurity or cloud certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, vendor certifications)Experience supporting enterprise or regulated customersWork Conditions:Flexibility to cover all US time zonesBusiness Travel Required Pay range: $160-$190kRSA is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
