Senior Banking Officer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Apple Bank for Savings. As a key member of our Queens, NY branch, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales, service, and operational performance goals.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Support the Branch Manager in managing the branch, including the Teller Unit, platform, and other ancillary operations.
ā¢ Implement sales initiatives aimed at leveraging products/services to increase deposits, accounts, and customers of the branch.
ā¢ Conduct performance appraisals and provide ongoing coaching to staff regarding sales techniques and product knowledge.
ā¢ Serve as the liaison between the branch and various departments to ensure transparency exists regarding internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
ā¢ High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
ā¢ At least 6 years of experience in customer service/supervisory role within a banking/retail environment.
ā¢ Minimum 3 years of operations experience, preferably in banking.
ā¢ Excellent customer service/sales skills.
ā¢ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Excellent communication skills (verbal + written).
ā¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using banking software.
ā¢ Demonstrated comfort level with technology, mobile services, and online banking services is a plus.
