Senior Back-End Developer
Job Summary:
The Senior Back-End Software Developer will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance,
testing, and debugging of Back-End web applications and related technologies. In addition to
development, this individual will collaborate with a team of developers and occasionally assist junior
developers in all facets of software development.
Job Goals:
ā¢ Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle of assigned applications.
ā¢ Ensure development processes, best-practices, and standards are followed to produce a quality product.
ā¢ Mentor and provide technical leadership for junior developers.
Job Responsibilities:
ā¢ Leads and participates in the responsibilities of the development lifecycle:
ā¢ Analyze business requirements
ā¢ Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX concepts
ā¢ Provide development estimates based on defined scope
ā¢ Architect and design solutions
ā¢ Write technical specifications and documentation
ā¢ Ensure best practices and process
ā¢ Implement solutions by coding features, enhancements, bug fixed
ā¢ Develop, debug, write unit test, QA, and support
ā¢ Provide technical leadership and guidance on development tasks for junior developers
ā¢ Perform code reviews to ensure quality and standards
ā¢ Oversee the development pipeline from development to production through automation
ā¢ Perform database design and development
ā¢ Performs other related duties as assigned
ā¢ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and/or a hybrid SDLC
ā¢ Azure Cloud Services - Containers, AD, AKS
ā¢ GIS Technologies, Tile Servers, Mapbox
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
ā¢ 6+ Years full-stack development experience
ā¢ 4+ Years Experience in the following-
ā¢ Web Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
ā¢ Microservices - C# .NET 6.0, Entity Framework, ADO.NET
ā¢ Database Development PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS
ā¢ Azure Dev Ops
ā¢ Unit Test Frameworks
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as a team member
ā¢ Strong communication and documentation skills
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to learn and master new technologies
