Now Hiring: Senior Android Automotive Developer (AAOS)
We’re looking for a Senior Android Automotive Developer to join an exciting greenfield project in the automotive tech space. You’ll be part of a small, agile team building a digital product that runs natively on Android Automotive OS (AAOS) — not Android Auto — delivering smarter, more connected in-car experiences from the ground up.
Location: Remote, based in Europe (or same working hours as Europe)
Engagement: Part-time
What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain applications on Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
• Develop scalable features using Kotlin
• Use Flutter for cross-platform UI implementation
• Integrate backend/cloud APIs with in-car systems
• (Bonus) Work with vehicle data (e.g. sensors, telemetry, climate control)
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to shape architecture and technical direction
About You
• 5+ years of experience with Android Automotive OS (not Android Auto)
• Strong skills in Kotlin and Android fundamentals
• Solid experience with Flutter for UI
• Confident in integrating RESTful APIs
• (Nice to have) Experience working with vehicle data, embedded systems or infotainment systems
• Located in Europe and available to work part-time
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
