[Remote] Invoice to Cash Mid-Market Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BlackLine is seeking a motivated and coachable Account Executive to help drive growth across their Invoice-to-Cash solution portfolio. The role focuses on generating pipeline, qualifying opportunities, managing customer relationships, and closing business while developing consultative selling skills in a high-performance sales organization.ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage a healthy pipeline through a combination of self-sourced prospecting, inbound leads, marketing programs, and partner referralsConsistently execute outbound prospecting activities, including calls, emails, social outreach, and networkingManage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial discovery through negotiation and closeConduct effective discovery conversations to understand customer business challenges and identify opportunities to create valueLearn and apply BlackLine's sales methodology, qualification framework, and forecasting processesDevelop expertise in BlackLine's Invoice-to-Cash solutions, including EIPP, Cash Application, Collections Management, Dispute Management, and Credit & RiskBuild relationships with finance and accounting stakeholders and expand executive engagement over timePartner with Solution Consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling customer presentations and demonstrationsMaintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and forecasting information in SalesforceParticipate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and development programsConsistently achieve activity, pipeline generation, and bookings goalsSkills1–3 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales, business development, or related customer-facing experienceDemonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to feedback, and execute in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsDesire to develop consultative and value-based selling capabilitiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain pipeline disciplineGrowth mindset with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and developmentExperience selling SaaS, ERP, finance, accounting, or business software solutionsExposure to Accounts Receivable, Invoice-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, or finance transformation initiativesExperience using Salesforce or other CRM platformsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceCompany OverviewCompanies turn to BlackLine (Nasdaq: BL) to help solve their most complex finance and accounting challenges through the power of Agentic Financial Operations.
