Senior Accountant – Sustainability Reporting & Controls Project Management

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! Lead the sustainability reporting and controls project management efforts for Cigna. Utilize expertise in both accounting and sustainability to drive positive change and make a significant impact on the organization. Develop and implement strategies to improve sustainability practices and initiatives within the organization. Manage and coordinate multiple projects related to sustainability and ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and information for sustainability reporting and analysis. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to sustainability. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance sustainability efforts. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to sustainability. Prepare and present reports and presentations on sustainability efforts to senior management. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on sustainability and accounting principles. Ensure all sustainability reporting and documentation is accurate, timely, and in compliance with relevant regulations. Act as a responsible and ethical steward of company resources in regards to sustainability initiatives.
