We’re hiring a Senior 3D Environment Artist for a 40 hr/week contract role at Arcway.
We're looking for a highly skilled 3D artist who can create realistic, builder-accurate residential environments and props for our interactive home configurator built in Unreal Engine.
This role is a strong fit for someone with experience in:
- Architectural visualization or realistic environment production
- Hard-surface modeling for high-quality, real-world assets
- Recreating products and finishes from reference images, spec sheets, and architectural documents
- Building assets that are production-ready for Unreal Engine
What you’ll be doing:
- Modeling and texturing the structure of homes directly from floorplans, elevations, schedules, and detail sheets
- Creating realistic interior and product assets such as cabinetry, faucets, lighting fixtures, appliances, and other home details
- Delivering assets that are:
- Visually realistic at close range
- Optimized for real-time use
- Clean, organized, and ready for integration into a configurator pipeline
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of professional 3D art experience
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with Nanite and Lumen
- Strong understanding of PBR materials, UV layout, texel density, and efficient texture workflows
- Experience with Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
- Bonus if you’ve worked in ArchViz, product visualization, or modular configurator systems
