The opportunity We are looking for a Cross Function Hypercare Support Engineer who will become part of our Security Technology Services team. In this role, you will be involved in supporting end users as part of the deployment of security tools to ensure successful implementation of security technology and main security posture of the organization. You will have the opportunity to stand up new technologies and work with internal and external groups to ensure the related systems are secure and robust. Your key Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting the run state of our security technologies, ensuring that they are operating within agreed service levels and at peak possible performance. Bringing operational expertise into efforts that introduce new technologies and upgrade current ones. Providing technical oversight of Information Security technologies that fall under the team’s responsibilities. Managing, driving, and coordinating planned maintenance activities as well as incidents for Information Security technologies. Representing the team in specific project activities, including leading projects and managing the activity of others towards successful completion. Articulating technology issues/concerns that may emerge at any level of the technical stack, and from any component across the ecosystem, to technology leaders. Please note that this role requires to work AMERICAS hours, including afternoons. Skills and attributes for success We are interested in people who bring in operational experience in large environment with excellent communication skills and having performed detailed troubleshooting of issues, by using their analytical skills and collaborating with other technical teams, stakeholders and internal and external customers spread across the globe. As a successful candidate you will have functional and/or technical experience in supporting security technologies including detailed knowledge in at least one of the following: Windows and Linux Operating systems, networking concepts & mechanisms, EDR, AV/AM, DNS, Encryption, E-Mail technologies, and other relevant technology. To qualify for the role, you must have Approximately 1-3 years of experience in supporting end user technologies and troubleshooting issues associated with it. Strong communication skills to interact with people around the globe. The ability to train & coach staff in technical processes and practices. Experience working in a large global virtual environment Strong English language skills – written and verbal Ideally, you’ll also have Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience.
