Security Guard
Job description
Hotel Facility parking lot and lobby area.
Night shift including weekends and holidays. Full time/40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
• Security officer shall patrol the parking lots/interior of the buildings if required. Scan all checkpoints placed throughout the property.
• The security officer will be visible at all times to deter any criminal activity.
• Security officers will respond to all calls for service from the residents and will try to handle the calls for service in a prompt manner. If the call for service is of the nature that requires further assistance from the police of fire department, the security officer shall make the call to the proper authorities for assistance.
• Security officers shall be on the lookout for suspicious behavior, enforce and handle security procedures provided by the client.
• Patrol the facility, observe and report any irregularities.
• Facility caretaker will maintain a professional appearance at all times, conduct themselves in a professional manner, and report to work in a full, clean uniform with the necessary equipment to perform their duties.
• Write detailed and submit electronically Daily Activity Reports (DAR).
Qualifications:
Fluent in English, with the ability to receive, give, and understand written and verbal instructions and procedures.
Lawfully permitted to work in the U.S.A.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must pass a comprehensive drug test.
Facility caretaker shall conduct themselves with a high level of professionalism in behavior, attitude, courteous and always maintain a business-like demeanor at all times.
Be physically and mentally able to meet the demands of the post.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Applicants interested to become security officers must be willing to take a Level 2/Non-commissioned class and become a security officer.
