Security Consultant

Join our Security Consulting team Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team. Partner with our enterprise customers You will play a pivotal role in the integration of our security and enterprise products. Working directly with our clients, you will manage the service offering and help improve their security posture. You will collaborate with teams internally, from implementation stage to sign-off, ensuring that we deliver stellar solutions. As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for: Being the central point of contact for customers and cross-functional teams regarding the delivery of Security Services Partnering with customers to understand their technical and business needs, to ensure customer success Partnering with the Product teams to bring customers' feedbacks on solutions and stick to their needs Managing the deliverables while working closely with other teams to ensure the success of the account Working with other technical experts to solve problems and demonstrate Akamai's values Contributing and collaborating with the wider team globally to facilitate the continuous improvement of processes Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have knowledge and/or experience as a Consultant for Web Security Have some knowledge of implementation concepts that deal with web development, IT systems or security practice Be familiar with security technology, process and concepts, security event management, or security compliance Demonstrate knowledge of Project Management concepts and techniques Have good communication skills and demonstrate an ability to build trusting relationships with customers Be able to proactive work with a sense of urgency with a constant desire to learn Be fluent in Japanese and have reading and writing compentency in English Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
