Security Analyst I

CBTS is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a role as a Security Analyst Level I. This entry-level position supports onsite Security initiatives within the corporate environment and requires US Citizenship or a Green Card. Responsibilities IDS monitoring and analysis, analyze network traffic, log analysis, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms Create and track investigations to resolution Compose security alert notifications Advise incident responders in the steps to take to investigate and resolve computer security incidents Collect Firewall Logs and analyze log information for any suspected intrusion attempts, DDOS or other Security issues Skills Must have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity 1 year of professional experience in security working with Firewall log analysis experience or 5 years of hands-on experience Either a Security + or CYSA+ Certification Previous experience working on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC) or a Security Operations Center (SOC) Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Vulnerability Assessment tools and other security tools found in large network environments Experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages Candidates MUST BE US CITIZEN OR Green Card We prefer this candidate to be as close to Grand Rapids, MI as possible Company Overview CBTS provides end-to-end IT and communications solutions that allow businesses to improve efficiency, enable innovation, and mitigate risk.
