A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This role supports student communication development through virtual platforms, enhancing accessibility and personalized care.
Responsibilities include:
ā¢ Delivering speech therapy to students via telepractice
ā¢ Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
ā¢ Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
ā¢ Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
ā¢ Utilizing technology to ensure effective and engaging remote therapy sessions
Qualifications and experience desired:
ā¢ Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for working in educational settings
ā¢ Proven experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services, preferably in schools
ā¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to virtual interactions
ā¢ Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs in a remote environment
ā¢ Familiarity with educational protocols and standards related to speech-language services
