Registered Nurse (RN) – Wheaton, IL (Maternity Leave Coverage) Pay: From $47-$54/hr, based off experience Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide full-time maternity leave coverage with a school district in Wheaton, IL. Located just west of Chicago, Wheaton is known for its strong community ties and commitment to quality education. This is a great opportunity for a nurse seeking a meaningful, short-term assignment supporting student health and wellness. Requirements: • Active Illinois RN license in good standing • Current CPR and First Aid certification • Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) certification as a School Nurse preferred (not required for temporary coverage) • Experience in pediatrics, public health, or school nursing is a plus Responsibilities: • Administer daily medications and necessary treatments in compliance with physician orders • Provide emergency first aid and health interventions to students and staff • Maintain detailed health records and ensure compliance with state reporting requirements • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and school staff to support individual student health needs Why Work with Blazer Jobs?
