Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for part-time positions within school districts in the Santa Clara, CA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students develop the skills necessary for success in the school environment.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to occupational therapy services in schools.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, parents, and school staff.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all local and state requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall ability to perform daily school tasks.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to improve students' functional abilities in the classroom setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the integration of occupational therapy strategies into the learning environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to achieve goals.
• Provide training and resources to school staff on adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and other strategies to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
