Key Qualifications:
ā¢ Active Georgia LCSW Educator Certification (required)
ā¢ Experience as an LCSW in a school setting preferred
ā¢ Strong background in working with children exhibiting moderate to intensive behavioral needs
ā¢ Compassionate communicator with collaboration skills
ā¢ Organized and adaptable, able to work across multiple classrooms
Role Responsibilities:
ā¢ Deliver direct and indirect social work services to approximately 24 Kindergarten-aged students in four classrooms
ā¢ Assess student needs and design interventions to support academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
ā¢ Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families on strategies and support plans
ā¢ Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed
ā¢ Maintain thorough, timely case notes and documentation in compliance with school and district protocols
ā¢ Offer crisis intervention and behavior management as necessary
ā¢ Stay up to date on best practices in school-based social work
