Key Qualifications:
⢠Active Georgia LCSW Educator Certification (required)
⢠Experience as an LCSW in a school setting preferred
⢠Strong background in working with children exhibiting moderate to intensive behavioral needs
⢠Compassionate communicator with collaboration skills
⢠Organized and adaptable, able to work across multiple classrooms
Role Responsibilities:
⢠Deliver direct and indirect social work services to approximately 24 Kindergarten-aged students in four classrooms
⢠Assess student needs and design interventions to support academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
⢠Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families on strategies and support plans
⢠Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed
⢠Maintain thorough, timely case notes and documentation in compliance with school and district protocols
⢠Offer crisis intervention and behavior management as necessary
⢠Stay up to date on best practices in school-based social work
