SAP Production Planning

Responsibilities:Design and implement SAP PP solutions to meet business requirements and improve production process efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SAP PP processes and configurations.Provide expert guidance and support to the development team during implementation.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.Conduct regular assessments of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.Stay updated with the latest SAP PP technologies and trends.Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team understanding of SAP PP tools and methodologies.Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and compliance standards.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.Optimize production planning models and reporting capabilities to support strategic decision-making.Provide technical recommendations for system upgrades and new technology adoption.Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback and innovation.Qualifications:Experience in SAP configuration for Production Process & OperationsMinimum of 2 full life cycle implementation experiencesExpertise in configuring and managing functionality including Process Orders, Order Settlements, Contracts/Agreements, Material Costing, BOMs, and Production Resources/RecipesStrong understanding of material configuration structureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsResults-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilitiesSolid understanding of integration points between SAP PP and other modules like FI, MM, and CostingAbility to define complex business requirements and translate them into SAP configuration or development solutionsGood understanding of material and batch classification structureAbility to collaborate with process experts to develop and document business requirementsExperience writing functional design specifications for custom development in SAP PPSAP BW experience is a plus but not requiredExtensive knowledge in system configuration to meet business requirementsAbility to analyze, replicate, and resolve issuesExperience conducting workshops to identify technical gaps and design solutionsStrong knowledge of end-to-end processes including inventory management, batch management, and warehouse setupFamiliarity with integration of SAP processes with third-party applicationsExperience with reporting tools and KPI developmentAbility to execute and monitor recurring monthly process activities and communicate status to stakeholdersMaintain process documentation and track functionality changesDevelop functional design specifications for custom developmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and process issues
