SAP Materials Management (MM) Solution Specialist

We are looking for an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Solution Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will focus on implementing and optimizing SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across procurement and inventory management processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply your expertise to deliver impactful ERP solutions. Responsibilities: • Lead SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects with a focus on configuring and optimizing the MM module. • Apply SAP Activate methodologies to manage project phases, including discovery, preparation, exploration, realization, deployment, and operation. • Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed solution designs and functional specifications. • Configure and enhance SAP MM features such as procurement, inventory management, vendor assessment, material valuation, and invoice verification. • Ensure smooth integration of the MM module with other SAP components like FI, SD, and PP for comprehensive process efficiency. • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and change management initiatives with key business stakeholders. • Oversee system testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing phases. • Resolve complex issues, provide support post-implementation, and drive continuous system improvements. • Stay updated on advancements in SAP S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support, including at least 2 years working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. • Proficiency in SAP Activate methodologies and Agile project management approaches. • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, materials planning, and vendor management. • Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics is advantageous. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. • SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
