Salesforce Developer (Part-Time, Remote, Execution-Focused, 5+ Years Experience)
U Trust Insurance Agency LLC is a growing insurance agency operating across 32+ U.S. states, focused on commercial trucking insurance. We actively use Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud as the core platforms for our sales and service operations. Salesforce is central to our business, and we continuously develop custom logic and automation to support real production processes. We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer (5+ years experience) to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This is a strictly execution-focused role. You will work from detailed specs and acceptance criteria to implement complex business logic and automation in Salesforce. Development is done via Salesforce Sandboxes. Deliverables include clean code, Apex tests, and clear deployment/testing notes. Responsibilities: • Implement business logic using Apex (bulkified triggers, async: Queueable/Batch) • Develop UI with LWC (preferred) or Aura • Build integrations via REST API and webhooks • Work with and enhance functionality in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud • Support and maintain Salesforce Flows • Data operations: import/export, dedupe, data model awareness • Write high-quality Apex tests (test data factory, negative and async cases) • Debug using logs, handle errors, manage governor limits • Prepare deployments via Salesforce CLI / SFDX Requirements: • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience • Strong Apex, SOQL, and governor limits understanding • Experience with LWC • Salesforce CLI / SFDX • REST API integrations • Apex tests (including async) • Ability to work precisely from specs and acceptance criteria Nice to have: • Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud in production environments • Insurance, fintech, or CRM-heavy systems • DocuSign or telephony integrations • Git, Salesforce certifications Conditions: • Fully remote • Part-time • Long-term collaboration possible How to apply: Please apply directly to this job announcement.
