About the position
Responsibilities
• Transcribe all pathology reports and letters accurately.
• Maintain a minimum accuracy rate of 98%.
• Support the strategic plan and performance improvement goals of Corona Regional Medical Center.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of the organization.
Requirements
• Minimum two years experience in pathology transcription required.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Clerical, typing, and computer experience preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
