Salesforce Administrator

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator for a 12 month+ contact; this is an on-site opportunity in Auburn, CA..
• Description*
Client is seeking a career Salesforce Administrator to sit onsite in Auburn, CA and support day-to-day Salesforce administration for a GovCloud environment. This person will focus on backlog remediation, standard admin work, reporting, configuration updates, field/object updates, and general run-the-business support. This is not intended to be a Salesforce Developer / Apex-heavy role. Client wants someone who knows standard Salesforce administration "like the back of their hand" and can work closely with the existing internal app resource to provide stronger operational support and validation before production changes.
• Work through current Salesforce admin backlog
• Support departments that have outstanding requests not yet submitted through tickets
• Perform standard Salesforce admin work:
oAdd/update fields
oUpdate reports
oSupport object/data element updates
oGeneral configuration changes
• Support business users as they resume adoption of Salesforce modules
• Partner with internal Salesforce-capable team member on change validation and testing
• Help improve operational support around production changes
• Potentially help define long-term workload needs for whether client ultimately needs a full-time permanent resource

• Strong in standard admin/config work
• Can come in quickly and start cleaning up backlog
• Comfortable in a smaller IT team environment
• Able to work onsite full time
• Professional, discreet, and comfortable in a privacy-sensitive environment
• Able to function in an organization where confidentiality and security are critical

• Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
1.Salesforce GovCloud experience
2.Experience supporting program-management style Salesforce environments
oUsing Salesforce beyond sales use cases
oMembership/program/community service style data models helpful
3.Experience in government, tribal government, public sector, or highly regulated environments
4.Experience working with confidential / sensitive personal data
5.Understanding of SDLC / testing discipline
6.Prior certifications
oSalesforce Admin cert preferred / likely expected in market
oNot an absolute hard requirement, but lack of certs would be viewed as somewhat unusual for a career Salesforce Admin
• Job Type & Location*
This is a Contract position based out of Auburn, CA.
• Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
