Sales Trainer

The Sales Trainer will support the Sales teams by onboarding new hires and providing ongoing education to help them achieve targets and initiatives, while also creating and enhancing training content and programs.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-person and online training sessions for SHI employeesFacilitate Learning by incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate different learning styles, including classroom instruction, virtual, and blended learningDevelop and present learning content specific to sales and technology acumen, internal systems and tools, operational processes, and professional developmentCreate new training courses and programs using various training vehicles such as video, documentation, and practical exercisesContinuously update and enhance training curricula based on department or companywide training initiativesOrganize and maintain content in platforms such as SHI Learn, Brainshark, MSFT Teams, and other internal SharePoint sitesCollaborate to adapt existing training materials for use in the SHI Learning Management System and promote its use company-wideMaintain records and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, and other relevant metricsOffer feedback, support, training, and guidance to employees and fellow members of the Learning & Development teamIdentify ways to improve learning effectiveness and delivery methods to continually enhance the training experienceSkillsCompleted Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experienceAbility to travel multiple times a year or 10%, both independently and with a groupProficiency in the following applications/platforms: Windows OSProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookProficiency in Microsoft Teams or WebexProficiency in Microsoft SharePoint utilizationProficiency in content creation, authoring, or capture tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Publisher, and SnagItExcellent organization, planning, and time management abilitiesExceptional listening skills and proficiency in communicating the company's value proposition and Sales MethodologyAbility to work effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally, and develop relationships with guest speakersStrong analytical skills including the ability to distill large amounts of information into concise, relevant componentsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPossesses self-motivation, and the ability to show initiative to complete tasks without direct instructionAbility to mentor and motivate others, and maintain a commitment to SHI's success and employee developmentAbility to be detail-oriented and complete tasks with accuracy and efficiencyAbility to demonstrate a professional attitude as well as understand and apply management feedbackAdaptability: Can demonstrate a willingness to accept feedback and adjust to new tasks or changes in the workplaceCommunication: Can communicate simple ideas and information clearlyCollaboration: Can demonstrate a willingness to contribute to team tasks and responsibilities when assignedCreativity: Can think beyond conventional solutions and propose simple creative alternativesEmotional Intelligence: Can identify and manage personal emotions in minor situationsInstructional Design: Knowledge of fundamental instructional design theories and models, such as ADDIE and SAMTechnical Expertise: Can understand the basic concepts in a technical area and seeks guidance when applying themContinuous Improvement: Can identify minor areas for improvement and implement minor changesExperience in a Training, L&D, Sales Enablement, Sales role, or a combination preferredBenefitsMedicalVisionDental401KFlexible spendingCompany OverviewThink of SHI as your personal technology concierge.
