Sales Team Manager for The Software Development Company

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in outside sales, and a proven track record in B2B sales and business development. This role offers the opportunity to manage key accounts, develop strategic marketing initiatives, and utilize advanced technology tools to optimize sales performance. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and fostering long-term customer relationships through exceptional customer service and negotiation expertise.

Duties
• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve company targets and expand market share
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
• Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and outreach
• Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Conduct B2B sales presentations, negotiations, and contract closures
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support sales initiatives
• Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on technical sales strategies, negotiation skills, and product knowledge
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and inform decision-making
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in technology and technical sales

Qualifications
• Proven experience in outside sales, management, or business development roles with a focus on B2B environments
• Strong background in technology or technical sales preferred
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for account management and analysis
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing a sales team
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable strategies
• Ability to develop innovative marketing approaches that support sales growth
• Experience in account management with a focus on building long-term client relationships
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
