Sales Support Associate

The Sales Support Associate will respond to inquiries, assist with lead generation, and provide vital support to sales and client relationships. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls to our advisor line to respond to inquiries, support needs and identify opportunities and route them to the appropriate territory team Assist team with lead generation and qualifying third party leads Build distributions lists for Sales to use in proactive outreach Liaise between both Marketing and Distributions Strategy and Analytics (DSA) to help support firm initiatives Use client relationship management (CRM) database software applications and other departmental databases to track client interactions and the progression of each client relationship Support sales and client relationships by providing research material, administrative follow-up and support Help with the preparation of detail-oriented reports and other materials for client meetings Provide database maintenance and compilation of business metrics Prepare documents for delivery to clients, including printing, mail merge and FedEx packaging Support and time available to achieve SIE, Series 7 & 63 Carry out other duties as assigned Skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to develop strategic business relationships Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks effectively High degree of self-motivation; able to work with little direct supervision Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience with client relationship management (CRM) database software applications B.S. or B.A. in related field preferred Janus Henderson product knowledge is preferred Background in Financial Services (Ideally Asset Management) Benefits Generous Holiday policies Paid volunteer time to step away from your desk and into the community Support to grow through professional development courses, tuition/qualification reimbursement and more Maternal/paternal leave benefits and family services Complimentary subscription to Headspace – the mindfulness app Corporate membership to ClassPass and other health and well-being benefits Unique employee events and programs including a 14er challenge Complimentary beverages, snacks and all employee Happy Hours Company Overview Janus Henderson Investors is an asset management company that provides investment products and portfolio management services to its clients.
