Position Summary

FMC Agricultural Solutions is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the Rioja, Navarra and Aragón regions in Spain. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for executing the regional sales strategy, developing strong customer and distributor relationships, and driving sustainable business growth. The position requires a strong understanding of the agricultural market, customer needs, and the ability to promote FMC’s product portfolio effectively.



Location: Rioja / Navarra / Aragón, Spain



Main Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the annual sales plan for the assigned territory

Build, manage and motivate a network of strategic distributors and key customers

Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to promote FMC products

Maintain strong relationships with growers, distributors and stakeholders

Support credit assessment processes and monitor distributor performance

Ensure timely follow-up on orders, collections and commercial agreements

Provide regular market feedback and competitor insights

Represent FMC in customer meetings, field visits and regional events



Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field

Proven experience in sales, preferably within the crop protection or agrochemical sector

Strong knowledge of the agricultural market and farming practices in Spain

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently and manage a defined geographic territory

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and follow-through

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region

Proficiency in Spanish, English language is an advantage
