Sales Attorney

Remote Full-time
Michael and Associates is a forward-thinking criminal defense firm seeking a motivated Sales/Intake Attorney to lead our client acquisition initiatives. Unlike traditional practices, we’ve redefined the approach to criminal defense from day one. By applying innovative strategies inspired by the tech industry, we’ve built a client-centered firm that prioritizes strong relationships, transparent communication, and exceptional service.

About This Role

As a Sales/Intake Attorney, you are the first point of contact for potential clients and play a critical role in representing the firm’s values and mission.

Your responsibility is to engage with prospective clients, understand their situations, and convey how our firm can offer them unparalleled legal support. Many of those who reach out are experiencing one of the most challenging times in their lives, and it's your role to listen, empathize, and guide them through this process. Your contribution can make a significant difference in their experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition: You will be tasked with conducting approximately 20 client consultations daily, all of whom have been pre-qualified. Your goal is to assess their cases, explain our firm's value proposition, and effectively onboard new clients into our system.
• Educational Expertise: You will develop an in-depth understanding of criminal law and our firm's unique approach to various cases, enabling you to respond confidently to all client inquiries.
• Client Comfort and Assurance: Understanding the stress of facing criminal charges, you'll engage with potential clients to alleviate their concerns, instill hope, and foster trust in our firm’s capabilities.
• Advocating our Premium Brand: As a frontline representative, you will embody the ethos of Michael & Associates, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression and reinforces our commitment to “Zealous Advocacy.”

What Makes This Role Unique?

1) Growth Potential: Join a rapidly growing firm positioned to become a leading criminal defense practice in Texas. You'll have the opportunity to shape your role and contribute to our growth narrative.

2) Opportunities for Advancement: We seek to disrupt the traditional boundaries of criminal defense law, providing opportunities for attorneys to grow within our expanding firm.

3) Innovative Practices: We embrace technology and continuously innovate to enhance efficiency and client service. Join us in transforming the legal landscape.

4) Collaborative Culture: At Michael & Associates, teamwork is essential. When clients choose us, they benefit from the collective expertise of our entire legal team, setting us apart from the competition.

5) Meaningful Work: Daily, you will have the chance to positively impact the lives of countless clients during one of their most difficult times. We don't strive for mediocrity; we go above and beyond to ensure exceptional outcomes for our clients.

If you're an enthusiastic and client-oriented attorney looking to make a mark in the field of criminal defense, we’re eager to hear from you.

P.S. Know someone who might be a fit? We offer a $5,000 referral fee if you refer a successful candidate!
• Passion for Client Engagement: You must thrive on phone interactions and enjoy connecting with clients. Experience in client consultations or sales is essential.
• Proficient Sales Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are required. You should be empathetic but also confident in selling our legal services, prepared to navigate any questions or concerns potential clients may present.
• Legal Qualifications: Candidates must possess one of the following: a) An active Texas bar license, b) A bar license from another state active for over 5 years, or c) A bar license from a state with reciprocity with Texas.
• Communication Enthusiast: If engaging with clients over the phone is not your strength, this position may not be suitable for you.

Competitive Salary Range: $130000– $200000 per year (depending on experience and performance)
