As part of its continued international expansion, the company is strengthening its presence in Germany, one of its key strategic markets. To support this growth, we are looking for a Sales Account Manager who will take ownership of the Northwest Germany region, driving business development, strengthening customer relationships and contributing to the company's long-term success in the market.
Mission:
Drive commercial growth in Northwest Germany by developing and managing relationships with professional customers, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the company's solutions as a reference in the HVAC and smart building market.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Account Management:
· Manage and grow the customer portfolio in Northwest Germany.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the professional channel (installers, integrators, engineering firms, distributors, and other industry stakeholders).
· Analise market trends (HVAC and IT sectors), regulations and trade restrictions.
· Build long-term relationships with key accounts and partners.
· Drive a consultative sales approach by identifying customer challenges and delivering tailored value-added solutions.
· Monitor customer payments and support the resolution of commercial incidents.
· Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to the regional growth strategy.
Market Presence & Customer Support:
· Plan and organize customer visits across the assigned region.
· Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events in Germany and internationally.
· Provide commercial and technical guidance throughout the sales process.
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Internal collaboration & Reporting:
· Work closely with the sales and support teams based in Spain.
· Participate in regular coordination meetings with headquarters.
· Use CRM and reporting tools, including Power BI, to manage opportunities and monitor performance.
· Share market insights and competitive information to support regional growth strategies.
Profile:
· Technical background preferred (Engineering degree, technical diploma or equivalent).
· Previous experience in B2B sales, business development and account management within technical or industrial markets.
· Previous experience within the HVAC, building automation, smart building, controls or systems integration sectors is highly valued.
· Strong sales orientation with proven ability to develop business autonomously.
· Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
· Fluent German and English are required. Spanish is a plus.
· Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region, attend international fairs, and travel to Spain several times per year.
· Valid driver's license.
· Ability to maintain a dedicated home-office workspace, including storage for demonstration materials, catalogs, and marketing assets.
