About the Role: RN - Staff Development Coordinator We're seeking an experienced and passionate RN to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator at Good Samaritan Society in International Falls, MN. As a Clinical Learning & Development Specialist in our long-term care setting, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact care delivery through education and training. This is a full-time, day shift position with a competitive salary range of $29.50 - $38.50. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, coordinate, teach, and evaluate education and training programs within designated areas, utilizing adult learning principles to drive engagement and knowledge retention. Collaborate with leaders, employees, educational facilities, and community agencies to identify learning needs and develop targeted educational programs. Serve as a CNA Program instructor, conducting skills labs and clinical experiences to ensure the next generation of healthcare professionals is equipped for success. Develop and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Facilitate research and analysis to assess and evaluate educational needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. Demonstrate effective collaborative skills, working with administrators, educators, and healthcare team members to achieve organizational goals. Utilize Microsoft Office/Windows applications, analytical decision-making, and project management skills to drive educational initiatives forward. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a clinical field, training and development, organizational development, or healthcare field. Currently holds a professional and unencumbered RN license with the applicable state(s) administered examiners and awarded by a governmental licensing agency. A minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office/Windows applications, analytical decision-making, information gathering, presentation, project management, group facilitation, and training skills. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA). One year of long-term care experience. Demonstrated involvement in clinical process improvement initiatives. Additional certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
