Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer - Test Automation Specialist, you will:
Work closely with Computer programmers to understand the complex advertising ecosystem set up at DEE Innovation
Develop automated test systems and suites on UI, API, and Integration levels of testing using Python or other OO languages
Participate in design conversations for our foundation to help develop the stage in a manner that enables more extensive testing scenarios that improve defect detection and prevention
Assist with emergency, analysis, and resolution of issues found across teams
Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests
Where necessary, create and execute manual experiments to identify issues that cannot be detected through automated means
Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible
Focus on significant areas of work, commonly 20% or more of job
Participate in item groups in building models which are robust, defect-tolerant, and cloud-native
Construct solutions for issues of significant degree and complexity that have been successfully delivered to clients
Impact and drive programming best practices within the team
Lead and deliver various projects using a Lean approach while reviewing colleagues' code
Participate in creating technical and business approaches; and new/improved technical tools
Share ownership of the design and execution of software projects or frameworks within the team, and within the organization
Write codes that outline and enhance systems
Audit code for design, testability, and clear usability
Construct solutions that scale and perform
Recognize opportunities to improve the framework/item/services with every cycle
Requirements:
At least 2 years of hands-on programming test development experience, including both functional and non-functional test development
Passion for driving best practices in the testing space
Capability with Python or other OO languages
Knowledge of programming practices and integrated approaches
Strong desire to establish and improve item quality
Experience assembling or improving test automation systems
Capability in CICD integration and pipeline improvement in Jenkins, Spinnaker, or other similar tools
Capability in UI automation (Selenium, Robot, Watir)
Experience in Gherkin (BDD/TDD)
Willingness to take on challenges head-on while being part of a team
