Job description: We are seeking an Architectural Designer for a remote contract-to-direct assignment out of St. Louis, Missouri. The selected candidate will help design state-of-the-art microelectronics facilities, data centers and other advanced industrial and commercial facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
ā¢ * This position requires Revit experience **
ā¢ * This position can work remotely **
ā¢ * Candidtaes must be within 750 miles of St. Louis, Missouri **
Responsibilities
- Preparation of drawings and models using Revit and related BIM software
- May be responsible for certain areas or building systems within the larger project
- May be responsible for compiling and issuing construction packages, or assisting in the preparation of such
- Promote overall quality of the design and project deliverables
- Work closely with architects and engineering disciplines, resolving design issues
- Perform conceptual, layout and detailed design tasks based on verbal direction or rough sketches
- Coordinate design and construction activities, studies and various analyses
- Provide quality reviews of models and documents prepared by others
- Delegate to junior staff where appropriate
- Provide leadership for a small team of designers
- Attend project meetings
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 - 10+ years experience in Architectural Design
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Production based background with strong skillsets in construction documents
- Experience in the design of industrial and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities is highly preferred
- Experience with Sketch up, Adobe Suite, InDesign, and Navisworks is a plus
