As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our development team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our application. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, service-focused, detail-oriented self-starter.Responsibilities: Work with the development team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our applicationManage AWS resources using TerraformManage projects that span multiple teamsMonitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues using DatadogAutomate deployment and infrastructure tasksImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with the development team to improve application performance and scalabilityCollaborate with Product and development team on release management and development processImplement and maintain security best practicesWork with Director of DevOps on prioritization of projectsEstablish goals (SLO, SLA) for key operational metrics with dashboards and ongoing reportingMentor and coach junior devops engineersRequirements: 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related fieldStrong knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Kubernetes and other container services like Docker, ECS, FargateStrong knowledge of Linux operating systemStrong coding skills with a familiarity with Terraform, Python, and JavaScriptStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience in securing complex environmentsNice to have: Experience with Django and ReactOther cloud experience (Google Cloud / Azure)AWS certificationsExperience in Health Care or TelehealthOffice365 / Azure AD experienceIn the first 30 days you will: Set up your local environmentFamiliarize yourself with our AWS environment and best practicesReview our IAC (Infrastructure as Code) code baseReview documentation and make any necessary updatesIn the first 90 days you will: Learn all processes and how to execute themHelp with deployment of our applicationWrite code and create documentationWork with DevOps Manager on planning future projectsFirst Stop Health is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
