Seven Starling is seeking a highly knowledgeable, experienced, and organized Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee the entire revenue cycle management process for our organization. This includes managing verification of benefits, claims submission, payment posting, claims denial management, and more.As the first Revenue Cycle Manager at a fast growing startup, this is an exciting opportunity to grow and lead a billing team, scale tools and processes to meet the needs of a fast growing organization, and implement best practices to optimize revenue cycle. You will report directly to the Co-Founder and COO and will have a major impact on our mission.What You'll DoOversee the full revenue cycle, including verification of benefits, claim submission, claims queue and denial management, payment posting, resolving balances, patient queries, and ARDevelop, document, and scale standardized billing and revenue cycle workflows and procedures, adapting these as our organization growsPartner with the product and engineering teams to scope, build, and implement new technology solutions for our internal billing system, FlockManage and grow our in-house billing team, including leading our talented Billing CoordinatorBring on outside vendors when necessary to streamline the revenue cycle processAnalyze key revenue cycle metrics and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure accurate and compliant documentation, coding, and billingCollaborate with the network access team to ensure all contracts, fee schedules, enrollments, and automated rulesets are reflected correctly in CandidServe as the subject matter expert on all billing and revenue cycle regulations, policies, and procedures, staying up to date with key industry trends and evolving requirements Serve as a point of contact for payers, auditors, and other external stakeholders as neededPrepare and present detailed reports on revenue cycle performance to leadershipWho you areBachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare administration, accounting, finance, or a related fieldAt least 5+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operationsDirect experience working with Candid for RCM strongly preferred Strong managerial skills with a proven track record of leading and growing a billing and revenue cycle teamIn-depth knowledge of medical coding, billing, and reimbursement regulations and guidelines, with added bonus if you have experience in behavioral health specificallyA systems thinker who is excited about building new processes and systems from scratchExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, including strong proficiency in google sheets or excelStrong project management and process improvement capabilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionallyThis is a unique opportunity to build and lead the revenue cycle function at a fast-growing healthcare startup.
