They are seeking a Retail Business Analyst (CPG) to conduct high-quality analysis of multi-source data to evaluate item performance and support category management projects. The role involves leveraging communication and analytical skills to present insights and recommendations to clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects and initiatives utilizing retailer POS and syndicated dataSystem tools: Retailer POS, Circana (IRI)/NielsenIQ and JDA/Blue Yonder and Power BIStrong analytics, insights, presentation, and storytelling skillsBuild, update, and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards (weekly POS + monthly category recaps)Create and present your category presentations incorporating syndicated data and other sources of data that address business issuesWork closely with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results are deliveredKeep abreast of client's KPIs, strategies, innovation, and other important informationLeverage relationships with clients to understand key retailer deliverables, category strategies, and project timelinesSkillsMUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A POWER BI AUTHOR TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITIONBachelor's DegreeRelated work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement1 - 3 years related experienceDemonstrate an advanced knowledge with Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BIExperience with syndicated dataIdentify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutionsEffectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and toolsClearly and concisely communicate relevant informationCategory Management Certification preferredCompany OverviewAcosta Group is a collection of the most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice firms.
