Overview
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeper to take charge of the day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping of a high-net-worth household in Argyle, Texas. The property is about 5,000 sq. ft. and includes two young children and a dog. This hands-on role requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing all housekeeping tasks.
Candidate must adhere to and be capable of fulfilling the Requirements listed below.
Schedule: 20-18 hours/week, Wednesdays off
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on housekeeping experience in a luxury home or similar setting
Valid drivers license with clean record
Capable of passing extensive background check and BAI interview
Strong communicator, both written and verbal. Must be able to speak English to communicate effectively.
High level of discretion, loyalty, integrity, and honesty
Highly organized & excellent eye for detail
Self-sufficient & self-driven.
Positive attitude and disposition
Service and detail-oriented
Understanding of the cleaning and sanitizing process using non-commercial cleaners (no Fabuloso or abrasive ceaners)
Understand the process for cleaning a room/space (top to bottom, left to right, least to most, etc.)
Duties & Key Success Factors
Full-charge housekeeping, including Housekeeping, House Cleaning, and Deep Cleaning.
Organization of personal and storage closets.
Perform special cleaning projects and maintenance tasks as needed, such as deep cleaning and seasonal tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of the household to identify cleaning needs and areas for improvement.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens.
Ensure all cleaning solutions and products are used safely and in accordance with best practices.
Linen rotation and laundering.
Clothing laundry/ironing.
Vacuum surfaces and disinfect sanitary and commonly touched areas.
Dust fine furnishings and delicate exteriors.
Unloading and organizing weekly grocery deliveries.
Other Considerations
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
Ability to negotiate a multi-story house with stairs many times a day.
Ability to use a ladder up to 6.
