Resident Experience Coordinator/Concierge

Southern Land Company is a national real estate development and construction firm seeking a full-time Resident Experience Coordinator to enhance the resident experience at their community in Nashville, TN. The role involves planning and executing community events while providing exceptional customer service as the primary contact for residents, guests, and vendors.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute 3 - 4 resident events per monthCoordinate vendors, catering, supplies, and event logisticsPartner with marketing and operations to develop event messaging and promotional materialsLead day-of event execution to ensure a high-quality resident experienceTrack attendance, collect feedback, and capture photos for future marketing useWork closely with marketing and operations team to develop messaging and assist in design creative for each event including flyers and related email/text communicationPrepare onsite teams for event setupServe as day-of lead for event management where needed, providing exceptional service, and creating memorable events, and ensuring participant satisfactionManage resident follow up to collect feedback, photos, and attendee counts to ensure strong attendance and event excellence, with a goal of continuous improvementServe as a primary point of contact for residents, guests, and prospect inquiriesProvide front desk coverage including greeting guests and answering phonesAssist residents with service requests, amenity reservations, and local recommendationsMaintain a professional and welcoming lobby environmentSupport package handling, deliveries, and key managementCollect resident feedback and encourage reviews on Yelp, Google, Apartments.com etcProvide courteous, consistent, professional, and knowledgeable customer service with internal and external audiencesSkillsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and project management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to anticipate needs and solve problems proactivelySelf-motivated, self-starter that possesses the ability to work independentlyCreative mindset with an interest in experiential hospitality and eventsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to quickly adapt, while displaying executive presence while working in a fast-paced and demanding environmentStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Programs such as: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, to participate in projects, as directedStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent critical thinking and ability to anticipate needsExcellent planning, time/project management, and organization skillsEffective problem-solving, calendar and time managementCustomer service & interpersonal skills requiredInterest/passion for hospitality and creativityAbility to prioritize event requests and customer needs, using good judgment and logical thinkingAbility to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and under close deadlinesTake initiative and demonstrate follow-throughSolutions-oriented and extremely organizedAbility to adapt to change, while displaying executive presence while working in a fast-paced and demanding environmentOne to three years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or hospitality experience that demonstrates sufficient background to resolve resident complaintsPrior experience in front desk support preferredPrior concierge and/or event planning experience preferredFair Housing training (we can provide)Experience with event management preferredExperience with Yardi, Canva, or event management software preferredHigh school diploma or GED is preferredYARDI property management software experienceBenefitsHealthVisionDental401k with a strong matchPaid time offCompany OverviewSouthern Land Company is a community developer focusing on the creation, design, and construction of retail, commercial and partment homes.
