Research & Project Support Specialist - Forbes Lists

Forbes is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research & Project Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to the creation of our prestigious Forbes Lists, focusing on accounting and finance. This is a remote position based in the United States, offering a hybrid work schedule to support employee success.


Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive research using various sources, including databases, analytics, and industry reports.
Manage and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases to organize and analyze data.
Support multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to meet deadlines.
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, with a strong commitment to deadlines and organizational skills.
Proactively reach out to and gather information from nominated CPAs.
Apply knowledge of analytics, research methods, and statistical analysis to support list development.
Contribute to project planning and execution.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.
Proven experience with spreadsheets and database management.
Strong research skills and experience with analytical methods.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to detail and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge and experience in the accounting field is a plus.
Journalism experience is a plus.


Compensation:
