Important Note – BI Trainer Pool Tecqnova is currently building a • *Business Intelligence Trainer Pool** for upcoming cohorts. Engagements will begin as student enrollment meets activation thresholds. Selected trainers will be contracted based on program demand. This is a contract-based, future engagement opportunity. Role Summary We are seeking a senior Business Intelligence professional with proven teaching experience to deliver structured, hands-on training in Power BI and Tableau. This role requires both technical depth and the ability to develop professional training materials as the course evolves. The trainer will actively contribute to building and refining the BI curriculum, including slide decks and instructional materials developed in Canva. Responsibilities • Deliver structured, instructor-led training in Power BI and Tableau • Teach Power BI: data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboards, and interactive reporting • Teach Tableau: data connections, visualizations, calculated fields, dashboards, storytelling • Develop and continuously enhance training materials using Canva • Build course slide decks, exercises, and structured lesson plans • Design real-world reporting scenarios and enterprise-style use cases • Guide students through hands-on exercises and reporting projects • Evaluate assignments and provide structured academic feedback • Ensure course content remains aligned with industry best practices Qualifications (Required) • 8–10+ years of enterprise BI/reporting experience • Strong expertise in Power BI and Tableau • **Proven classroom, corporate training, or formal teaching experience (required)** • **Strong presentation and instructional skills** • **Experience with SQL and dimensional data modeling** • **Ability to independently develop professional training materials** Preferred • Experience in Finance, Insurance, Retail, or other enterprise environments • Experience with Power BI Service, Tableau Server/Online • Experience integrating cloud data sources (Snowflake, Azure, etc.) • Exposure to AI-powered analytics features Employment Type Contract Remote • Engagement is activated based on student cohort enrollment
