As an Experienced Business Analyst, you will coordinate IT projects, serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, and ensure that client business priorities are met through effective solutions.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate workstreams and teams on IT projects to align solutions with client business prioritiesDemonstrate your knowledge as MMIS SME and liaison for clients and internally between technical and non-technical workers to transform requirements into real resultsDelegate work across teams, and coach and monitor project team members to plan, design and improve complex business processes and modificationsStreamline workflows across clients and technical personnel to determine, document and oversee carrying out system requirementsSupport quality control as you approve and validate test results to verify that all requirements have been metServe as a trusted advisor and proxy to the functional lead, ensuring alignment of priorities, risks, and execution across all provider initiativesAct as the operational backbone for the Provider workstream, driving day-to-day execution while enabling leadership to focus on strategic prioritiesPartner closely with leadership to translate strategic direction into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverablesProvide leadership continuity, stepping in to lead discussions, decisions, and escalations when requiredSkillsNine or more years of experience working as a business analyst or ‘requirements translator' between technical and non-technical personnel in healthcare industry, with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Excel advanced features such as macros and/or relational database softwareAbility to clearly and concisely translate technical requirements to a non-technical audienceSkills working with business processes and re-engineeringCuriosity to solve complex problems and strong interpersonal skills to interact with and influence clients and team membersA caring team leader who motivates and coaches less experienced resourcesDeep expertise in MMIS interchange, with the ability to apply that knowledge to drive solution design, integration, and issue resolutionStrong knowledge of Medicaid programs and provider domain operations, enabling effective decision support and client alignmentSkills to Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support critical decision-makingBenefitsGenerous, flexible vacation policyEducational assistanceComprehensive health benefits401(k) employer matchVariety of leadership and technical development academies to help build your skills and capabilitiesWork flexibilityLearningCareer developmentFully remote options from most US locations and territoriesCompany OverviewGainwell Technologies is a provider of Information Technology & Services.
